Rogue Island Returns

It's been a few years, but I have the time to revive a story my friends and I worked on called 'Rogue Island Station'. The stories first appeard as part of the Rhode Island Science Fiction club's monthly newsletter, Graffiti, in 2001, and only ran for about six months. Members would take turns writing and advancing the storyline. I've always wanted to continue these adventures, thinking that it would make a great comic strip. So hey, if you're reading this, and know an artist whose talent just might fit into the storyline, please have that person drop me an email, Who knows? Maybe one day Rogue Island Station may get the visual performance I think it deserves. In the meantime, enjoy the original stories, gush over the new ones, and drop me a line if you have any ideas, or would even want to contribute your writing skills.

Rogue Island Station : The Story

Rogue Island Station is the story of a space station in the 24th century. Founded by a group of Terrans living in the United States, who wanted their independence from Earth, they set off for a remote star system and a better way of life. Along their journey, only 10 out of a fleet of 39 ships have survived, when they discover an abandoned, alien space station.

Out of resources, they salvaged their ships and these 'Rhode Islanders' decided to make the station their home. Over the years, the residents of Rogue Island Station have added new parts and technologies to their base, making it a mix of Earth and alien; with often interesting results.
